For a residential service call we offer flat rate pricing. We have a diagnostic fee and repairs are additional. Call us for exact pricing. This flat rate policy is designed so that after we have completed our diagnosis we can offer a list of solutions with their pricing, so that you, the homeowner, will have the opportunity to approve or decline repairs based on price.

For our commercial customers our pricing is based on time and materials.

This is an indication that your system is probably low on refrigerant which indicates a leak that needs to be searched and repaired if possible.
Yes, you can. However, it could in the long run become very expensive with the cost of freon. Also, it doesn’t really fix the problem and refrigerant leaks usually get worse as time goes on.
Try replacing the batteries in the thermostat if it has them. If that doesn’t work, give us a call!
As of December 31, 2009, R-22 will no longer be manufactured. It is being replaced with R-410A, a much more eco-friendly refrigerant. The down side to this is that the 2 refrigerants do not mix and cannot be used in the same system.
Unfortunately, no. The two pieces of equipment use different refrigerant and the two refrigerants do not mix and will cause your new compressor to fail.

Absolutely. An air conditioning and heating system like any other machinery has moving parts that need to be cleaned and serviced regularly in order to make them last longer. It is much like a car, regular service extends the life of the equipment.
